How does the INTERNET work? | ICT #2?

The Internet is like a giant neighborhood where all your toys can talk to each other from far away.

Imagine you have a toy phone, and your friend has one too. When you press the button, your message goes through wires or invisible signals to reach your friend’s toy phone. That’s kind of how the Internet works, but instead of just phones, it connects computers, phones, and even toasters around the world.

Like a Big Mail Delivery

Think of the Internet as like a huge mail delivery system. When you send an email or open a website, your message is broken into tiny pieces called data packets, like little letters in an envelope.

These data packets travel through special roads made of wires and invisible signals (like Wi-Fi). They might go through many stops before they reach the computer on the other side. Once all the pieces arrive, they are put back together so you can see your friend’s message or watch a video, just like when you get a full letter after receiving all the envelopes!

It's not magic, it's just clever toy phones and really fast mail delivery!
