There are five different ways people think, and each one is like a special kind of puzzle piece that helps them solve problems or understand things around them.
Imagine you have five friends who all play with blocks, but they build their towers in totally different ways. That’s what thinking styles are like, everyone has their own way of building ideas!
How People Use Their Thinking Styles
- Some people think like builders: They want to see the whole tower first before starting. This is called planning.
- Others think like explorers: They start with one block and keep adding more as they go along, this is trial and error.
- There are thinkers who take things apart to understand how they work, like taking a toy car apart to see how it moves inside.
- Some people like to listen first, then think about what others said before speaking up themselves.
- And there are those who just go with the flow, making decisions as they go along, without thinking too much ahead.
Each way of thinking is special and helps us learn in different ways, just like each friend's tower looks different but is still fun to play with!
Examples
- One friend plans every detail before a trip, while another just goes with the flow.
