A sea breeze happens when the wind blows from the sea to the land, and a land breeze is when it goes the other way, from the land to the sea.
Imagine you're playing with two friends: one is wearing a warm blanket (the land) and the other is sitting in front of a fan (the sea). When the sun comes up, the land gets hot faster than the sea. The air near the land warms up, becomes lighter, and rises, like when you blow on a balloon to make it float. This makes cooler air from the sea rush in to take its place, creating a sea breeze.
At night, things cool down. The land loses heat quicker than the sea. Now the air above the land is cooler and heavier, so it sinks and moves toward the sea. The warmer air from the sea rises to replace it, that’s a land breeze!
It's like how your body feels when you move from a hot room to a cool one, the breeze makes everything feel more comfortable. And just like that, the wind is always dancing between land and sea, depending on the time of day!
