How Does Responsibilities of a Manager & Supervisor Work?

A manager is like a team leader who helps everyone know what to do and makes sure things get done well, while a supervisor is more like a helper who checks in on people and gives them small tips to help them do their jobs better.

When They Work Together

Imagine you're playing with your toys. Your manager would be like the person who tells you what game to play and how many players are needed. They might say, “Let’s all build a big tower today!” That helps everyone know what they’re working on together.

Your supervisor is more like someone who walks around while you're playing and says things like, “Hey, that block is wobbly, maybe put it in the middle.” They help fix little problems so your game goes smoothly.

When They Work Alone

If there’s just one person helping everyone play, they might be both a manager and a supervisor. Like when you're playing with blocks by yourself, you decide what to build (manager), and then you check if each block is standing up properly (supervisor). It's all you, but you’re doing two jobs at once!
