How Their Noses Work
Proboscis monkeys use their big noses like a speaker. When they make sounds, the nose helps amplify (make louder) their calls so other monkeys can hear them even from far away.
Also, when they’re angry or trying to impress another monkey, their big noses help them look stronger, like having a bigger helmet in a wrestling match. The more they use their noses, the bigger they get, it's like how your muscles grow when you lift weights!
So, proboscis monkeys have big noses that help them talk louder and look tougher, just like having a special tool to help you win at games!
