What's a Pentagram?
What's a Pentacle?
Now imagine that same star is sitting on top of a circle, like a crown on a king’s head. That whole thing, the star and the circle, is called a pentacle. It's like having your favorite cookie with a pretty round base underneath it, making it look even fancier.
So, if you're drawing just the star, that's a pentagram, and if you draw the star on top of a circle, that’s a pentacle, both are fun shapes to play with!
Examples
- Imagine drawing a star on your hand for luck, that's a pentagram. Adding a circle makes it a pentacle, like a magical seal.
- The pentagram is often used in witchcraft, and the pentacle represents protection or unity.
