The Brain’s Different Jobs
Imagine your brain is like a toy box full of different toys, each one has its own special job. For example, the front part of your brain is like the boss who plans what to do next. It helps you make decisions and remember things, just like how you decide which game to play first.
The side parts are like your brain’s helpers who listen and understand what people say. They help you hear sounds and figure out what words mean, kind of like how your ears work with your brain to know when someone is calling you for snack time!
The Brain’s Superpower: Sending Messages
Your brain also uses tiny wires called nerves to talk to the rest of your body, just like how telephone lines help people send messages. These wires carry signals from your brain to your legs so you can run, or to your hands so you can grab a toy.
When all these parts work together, planning, listening, moving, that’s how you think, feel, and play!
