Like a Big Playground with Few Kids
Imagine you have a huge playground, but only a few kids come to play. Most of it is empty, just grass and swings waiting for someone to use them. That’s kind of what happens in most countries: they’re like that big playground, and not all the people live in one spot.
Some People Like Quiet Places
Some people prefer being near mountains, forests, or beaches rather than living in busy places with lots of people around. These areas may have fewer houses and streets but are still very special, like having your own little corner of the playground to enjoy all by yourself.
So even though most countries look empty, they're actually full of life, just not always in the same place as you!
Examples
- Some countries have big areas with no cities or roads, so not many people live there.
