What Is a Feeling?
A feeling is something small and specific, like when you get a sticker for doing good work. It's like a tiny, warm hug inside your tummy.
What Is an Emotion?
An emotion is bigger, it’s what happens when many feelings come together. Like getting excited before a party or feeling sad when your favorite toy breaks.
What Is a Mood?
A mood is how you feel most of the time, like being in a happy mood all day because of that ice cream, or being grumpy if you didn’t get any!
So feelings are little sparks, emotions are big fireworks, and moods are the weather of your day. Imagine you're eating your favorite ice cream, that’s feeling, the joy inside you; emotion is like the big smile on your face and the happy dance you do; and mood is how you feel all day long, like being super happy because of that ice cream.
