How Does Logical Argument Forms: Generalizations, Specialization Work?

Imagine you have a big box of crayons, and every time you use one, it gets a little shorter, that’s generalization and specialization, like using crayons in different ways.

Generalization is like saying all your blue crayons can make the same kind of sky. If one blue crayon draws a light blue sky, you might think all blue crayons can do that, that’s generalizing from one example to many.

Specialization is when you pick one blue crayon and use it for just the clouds in your picture. You're taking a big idea (blue sky) and focusing on a small part of it (clouds), that’s specializing from a general rule to a specific use.

So, just like how you can go from all your crayons to one special color, generalization helps you see the bigger picture, and specialization helps you focus in on what matters most.
