How Does Lock and Key model Work?

Imagine you have a special doorknob that only opens with a specific key, no other keys will work! That's how the lock and key model works.

When you turn the key in the lock, it fits perfectly, like when your favorite toy clicks into place. This is just like how enzymes and molecules fit together in our bodies, they have to match exactly for something to happen.

Think of a lock as a enzyme, and the key as a molecule. When the molecule (the key) fits into the enzyme's lock, it helps start a reaction, like turning on a light switch or making your favorite snack taste better.

Just like only your key works with that doorknob, no other keys will open it, only certain molecules can work with specific enzymes to make things happen in our body!
