Light is like a magic switch for our brain. When it's bright, like in the morning, our brains send a signal that makes us feel happy and ready to go. When it gets dark, like at night, another signal tells us it's time to relax and sleep. This is why we sometimes feel tired or sad when there's not enough light.
Examples
- When you stay inside all day and don’t get much sunlight, you might feel tired or grumpy.
- If you work at night under bright lights, you might find it harder to fall asleep later.
- Sometimes when it’s cloudy outside, people feel a bit more moody.
