Indie games are like your favorite toy that suddenly becomes too popular and starts causing trouble for everyone else.
Imagine you have a small box where you keep all your toys, these are indie games, made by people who just want to play and share their fun ideas with others. At first, they’re simple and easy to make, so lots of kids (like game makers) start putting their special toys in the big toy store (the game market).
But then something happens: the box gets too full, and now it’s hard for everyone to find space, not just for new toys, but also for the old ones. The big toy companies (like AAA games) feel like they’re being pushed aside because there are so many small boxes now. It’s like when your friend brings a huge pile of toys to school, and suddenly you can’t fit all your favorite ones in the classroom anymore.
So now it feels like indie games, that once were just simple fun, have become something that causes problems for everyone else, even though they started as friends.
