Like Roommates Sharing a House
Imagine you and your friend are roommates in a house. You both use the same kitchen, bathroom, and living room. Sometimes you clean up after each other, sometimes you make a mess. That’s kind of like human-environment interaction, people use nature for things like food, water, and shelter, and in return, they change it a little bit.
When You Plant a Garden
If you plant a garden, you’re helping the earth grow more food. But if you don’t water it or take care of it, maybe the plants won’t grow as well. That’s like how people can help nature, but sometimes they also hurt it, like when they cut down too many trees.
So, human-environment interaction is just like being a good roommate, you both need to look out for each other!
Examples
