How Does Hardware Failure Work?

Imagine your toy box is a computer, and every toy inside is part of its hardware, like blocks are the memory, wheels are the processor, and the lid is the power button.

What Is Hardware Failure?

When something breaks in your toy box, it's like a hardware failure. Maybe one of your blocks gets lost or broken, that’s like missing memory. Or maybe the wheel stops spinning, that’s like a broken processor. If the lid won’t open, it’s like the computer can't turn on.

How It Happens

Sometimes, hardware breaks because it gets too hot, like when you leave your toy car in the sun and it melts. Other times, it might just wear out from being used too much, like how your crayons get shorter every time you draw.

If a part of the computer fails, it can't do its job anymore. But don’t worry, just like you can fix a broken toy, computers can be fixed too!
