GHOST PHOTOS are like invisible friends who show up in pictures when no one is there, and we can explain why!
Imagine you're playing hide-and-seek with your brother, but it's really dark. You take a picture of the room, and poof! Your brother appears in the photo, even though he was hiding behind the couch. That’s kind of how ghost photos work.
How the Camera Sees Things
Cameras are like eyes that can see in the dark, but they sometimes get confused. If there's a flickering light, like a bulb that turns on and off really fast, it can trick the camera into thinking something is moving, or even appearing out of nowhere!
Why We Think It’s a Ghost
Sometimes, the light flickers so fast that the camera takes many pictures in one go. If your brother moves just right while the light is flickering, the camera might show him in some photos but not others. That looks like he appeared or disappeared, just like a ghost!
It’s not magic, it’s just lights and cameras playing hide-and-seek!
