How CNN Explains: Secession Work?
Imagine you have a big puzzle made of tiny colored squares. A CNN works by looking at these squares, one by one, like you look at pieces of a puzzle to figure out what the whole picture is.
Now, secession in this case means some of those squares decide they don’t want to be part of that big picture anymore, kind of like if your little brother took his blocks and made his own tower away from yours!
The CNN detective notices these squares have left the group. It uses clues from their colors and shapes, just like you use clues about where the blocks are to know who moved them.
So when some parts of a picture decide to be on their own, that’s secession, explained in a way even a 5-year-old can understand!
Examples
- A state decides to leave the country, like a kid leaving a group project.
- A country splits into two parts because people disagree.
