How Does Carl Jung - How to be Genuinely Authentic (Jungian Philosophy) Work?

Carl Jung helps us understand how to be genuinely authentic by showing us how our inside world shapes who we are.

Imagine you're playing with your toys and you have two different kinds of blocks: one set is bright and colorful, and the other is plain and quiet. Sometimes you build castles with the bright ones because they look fun, but deep down, you feel more at peace when you use the plain ones. That’s like having different parts inside of you that want to be seen or heard.

Inside You Has a Playground

Carl Jung thought of our insides like a playground where different characters live:

  • The bright blocks are like your extroverted side, you love being around people and showing off.
  • The plain blocks are like your introverted side, you prefer quiet time to think or dream.

Sometimes these parts get confused, just like when you're trying to play with both sets of blocks at the same time and it feels messy inside.

Finding Your Real Self

To be genuinely authentic, you need to know which part of you is happy in what situation. It's like picking your favorite toy for each game, it makes everything feel more real and true, just like when you're playing your way.
