Claude Mythos is like having a super-smart friend who can remember everything you've ever said and use that to help you solve problems.
Imagine you're telling a story to your best friend, and every time you say something new, they write it down in a notebook. Then, when you ask them a question later, they look through the whole notebook, not just the last page, to understand what's going on. That’s how Claude Mythos works, but instead of a notebook, it uses something called memory, and instead of writing with pen and paper, it uses super-fast computers.
How It Stores Information
Think about your backpack, when you put things in it, you can take them out later. Claude Mythos has a really big backpack (we call it long-term memory) where it keeps all the information from every conversation it's ever had. So even if you talk to it for hours or days, it still remembers everything.
How It Uses Information
Now imagine your friend not only writes down what you say but also thinks about how each part of the story connects, like linking a character’s actions to their feelings. That’s how Claude Mythos uses its memory, it connects new information with old stuff to make sense of what's happening, helping you solve problems more easily.
