Why It Happens
Your phone has a smart brain that watches how bright your screen is. If it sees you aren't typing, scrolling, or looking at it, it starts to lower the brightness so it doesn’t waste energy, like turning down the volume on your favorite song when no one's listening.
How to Fix It
Sometimes the phone gets confused and keeps dimming even when you're still using it. You can tell it, “Don't be silly, I'm still here!” by going into the settings and telling it not to lower the brightness so quickly. That way, your screen stays nice and bright for as long as you need it.
Think of it like a lamp with a timer, if you're still reading, don’t let it go to sleep! Android screens keep dimming because it thinks you're not using them anymore, just like how your bedroom light turns off when you leave the room and don’t touch it for a while.
