How the Strings Make Different Notes
The strings are like rubber bands of different lengths. Shorter strings make higher notes because they vibrate faster, think of a small bell that rings quickly. Longer strings make lower notes because they vibrate slower, like a big drum that thumps slowly.
When you press a key, the string starts vibrating, and the sound goes through the air to your ears. It’s like when you shake a jump rope, the faster you shake it, the more it hums!
