The Magic Inside
Inside the computer is something called a central processing unit, or CPU for short. It’s like the brain of the computer. Every time you click a button, the CPU gets to work and turns on and off those tiny switches really fast, millions of times per second! That's how your computer can do so many things at once.
Examples
- Typing a message on your phone feels instant because the computer processes each letter at lightning speed.
- Your video game reacts to your moves so fast it feels like you're inside the action.
