Imagine a kid who learns to tell the difference between dogs and cats by looking at lots of pictures. A computer does something similar when it learns from data. It starts with no idea what a dog or cat looks like, but after seeing many examples, it gets really good at telling them apart. The more pictures it sees, the better it becomes. That’s how computers learn, by practicing with lots of information.
