How Do We Choose Between Two Options?

Imagine you're at a bakery, and there are two cookies on the counter, one is bigger but looks plain, and the other is smaller but has colorful sprinkles. Sometimes we pick the bigger cookie because it tastes better, but sometimes we go for the smaller one just because it looks nice. Our brain uses something called choices to help us decide between things like this. It’s a bit like choosing your favorite toy, you might not always pick the biggest one if it doesn't feel as fun.
