Stars are like giant fireballs in space, they burn bright because they have a lot of fuel and are very hot inside. Planets, on the other hand, don’t have their own fuel or heat to make them shine. They only reflect light from stars like the Sun. Stars make their own light, while planets just borrow it.
Examples
- The Sun is a star that shines on its own, Earth is a planet that only shines when the Sun lights it up.
- Stars are like giant lamps in space, planets are like books that only glow when they’re near a lamp.
