Scientists use tools and observations to guess what the weather will be like. Imagine you're in a kitchen, and you watch the clouds outside. If they look dark and heavy, you might say it's going to rain soon! Scientists do something similar, they check things like wind, temperature, and pressure using special machines called sensors and satellites that float high above Earth.
Examples
- A weather app tells you it's going to snow tomorrow because of cold air coming from the north.
- Your teacher checks the wind speed outside and says it might be windy today.
