How do private companies launch rockets into space?

A private company uses big machines and special fuel to send rockets into space, just like a car uses gas to move on the road.

How It Works

Imagine you're playing with your toy cars. To make them zoom across the floor, you push them or maybe wind them up. Private companies do something similar, they use huge engines that burn special fuel to create power, which makes the rocket go really fast and high.

The Rocket's Journey

When the rocket is ready, it takes off from a launch pad, like how your toy car starts at the top of a ramp. As it goes up, it leaves Earth behind, just like you leave your bedroom when you go to school. It travels through space until it reaches its destination, maybe another planet or a satellite that helps us watch TV or track weather.

Sometimes, the rocket comes back and lands again, just like how some toy cars can drive around and return to their starting place. This is called reusability, and it helps companies save money so they can keep sending rockets into space again and again!
