People decide what is true or false by using clues and their own experiences. Imagine you're playing a game where someone says, 'The sky is blue.' If you see the sky and it looks blue to you, you might believe that. But if you live in a place with gray skies most of the time, you might not agree. Just like in games, people use what they know to figure out what's true.
