How Do Optical Fibers Work?

Optical fibers use light to send information through very thin tubes, like a super-fast message lane for your toys.

Imagine you have a flashlight and a long, bendy straw. When you shine the light into one end of the straw, it comes out the other side, even if the straw is twisted or bent!
