Like a Flipbook
Imagine you have a little book where each page shows a tiny picture of a character jumping. When you flip the pages really fast, it looks like the character is moving, that’s how movies work too! Instead of pages, movies use frames, which are like pictures one after another.
The Magic Behind the Screen
A movie starts with cameras recording real-life actions or actors pretending to be something else. These recordings are then turned into a long string of frames. When you watch the movie on the big screen, it’s showing all these frames really fast, so fast that your eyes can’t tell they’re separate pictures, and everything looks smooth and moving.
It's like watching a flipbook with thousands of pages, but instead of flipping by hand, the movie plays it for you!
