Honeybees use a special dance to tell each other where food is. When a bee finds a good spot with lots of nectar, it goes back to the hive and starts dancing. The way it dances shows how far away the food is and which direction to go. Other bees watch the dance and then fly off to find the food themselves!
Examples
- A bee finds a flower with lots of honey, then dances in circles inside the hive to show others where it is.
- The dance tells other bees how far away the food is, like giving directions on a map.
- Other bees watch the dance and fly off to find the same flower.
