Bacteria are tiny helpers and troublemakers that live on and inside our bodies, like little guests at a party.
Some bacteria are like friendly neighbors who help you stay healthy. For example, the ones in your tummy, called good bacteria, help you digest food and keep bad guys away. They’re like the chefs and bouncers of your body’s party!
But not all bacteria are nice. Some are like mischievous kids who cause trouble. If they get into your body through a cut or by sneezing, they can make you sick. These bad bacteria might give you a tummyache or even a fever.
You can think of it like this: when you eat yogurt, you’re adding more friendly guests to the party. But if you touch something dirty and then eat without washing your hands, you're letting troublemakers in!
Sometimes, the good and bad bacteria have a big fight, and that’s when you get sick or feel better again.
So, bacteria can be our friends or our foes, all depending on where they are and what they’re doing!
