How do different animals perceive the world around them?

Different animals see and feel the world around them in very different ways, just like how you might enjoy a cookie differently than your brother.

Imagine you're wearing a pair of sunglasses, that's kind of like what some animals do! Birds, for example, have special eyes that let them see things far away very clearly. It’s like having super-powered binoculars all the time!

Bees don’t just fly around randomly, they can see colors we can't even see, like ultraviolet light! It's like having a secret rainbow that only you and your best friend can see.

Snakes don’t use eyes the way we do. Instead, they have something called heat sensors on their faces, it’s like having little thermometers that tell them where warm things are, such as a mouse hiding under leaves!

Dogs, on the other hand, have much better smell than we do. If you left your favorite toy in the park, your dog could find it even if it was hidden under 10 piles of leaves!
