Clouds are like giant scoops of ice cream in the sky. When warm air rises, it cools down and turns water vapor into tiny drops or ice crystals, that’s how clouds form! Sometimes clouds look white because light bounces around a lot, but when they’re thick or dark, they block more light and look gray. When the sun is low in the sky, like during sunrise or sunset, it makes clouds look pink or orange, just like when you paint with watercolors!
