Birds use special parts in their body like little musical instruments. Some birds have a part called the syrinx, which is like a mini drum kit inside them. When they breathe out, it makes different sounds depending on how they move that syrinx. Some birds even use their beaks or feathers to change how their songs sound!
Examples
- A sparrow might chirp like it's playing a little flute.
- A crow uses its beak to make deep, booming sounds.
- A nightingale sings with two different tones at the same time.
