AI models learn to generate human-like text by practicing and getting feedback, just like a child learning to speak.

Imagine you're teaching your friend how to talk. Every time they say something, you tell them if it sounds right or not. Over time, they get better at speaking because they’re learning from the feedback they receive. That's what AI models do, but with lots of words and lots of practice!

AI models start by reading a huge collection of books, articles, and conversations, like reading every storybook ever written. This helps them understand how people use words and sentences together.

After they read a lot, they try to write their own sentences. Then someone (or a computer) checks if what they wrote makes sense. If it does, great! If not, the AI model tries again. This is like practicing spelling, every time you make a mistake, you learn something new.

Over time, with lots of reading and practice, AI models become really good at making sentences that sound just like people do.
