How did the Roman Empire rise to power and eventually decline?

The Roman Empire was like a super strong team that grew bigger and stronger until it became too big to stay together.

Rome started as a small city, kind of like your neighborhood. At first, it had just a few people, but they were really good at fighting and working together. They kept winning battles against other groups, which made them rich and powerful, like getting extra candy for doing your chores. As they won more fights, they took over more land, and their army got bigger and stronger.

Rome had a strong army, like a group of really tough friends who never gave up. They also built roads and buildings that helped people travel and trade easily, like having a big playground with slide paths everywhere. This made Rome not only strong but also very convenient to live in.

But then, the Roman Empire got too big, like trying to juggle way more balls than you can handle. It had problems with money, bad leaders, and people fighting each other from inside, like when your friends argue over who gets the most candy. Eventually, Rome couldn’t keep all its pieces together anymore, and it slowly fell apart, just like a big tower of blocks that starts to wobble and then crashes down.
