The French Revolution started because the people were tired of being poor and treated badly. King Louis XVI and his family were rich, but most people in France didn’t have enough food or money. The nobles kept getting more money while the common people struggled.
Why People Got Angry
Taxes were high, and the people had to pay for wars that weren’t helping them. When a bad harvest made things worse, they couldn’t take it anymore, so they rose up in protest.
