The Magic of Letters
The Phoenicians created 22 letters, like our own A, B, C, that were used for names and words. This made it easier for people all over the world to learn how to write, eventually leading to our modern alphabet.
Examples
- A child draws a picture of an apple, and that becomes the letter A.
- A trader writes a message using simple letters instead of complicated pictures.
