Cars are made in factories by putting together lots of parts like building blocks.
Like Building a Toy Car
Imagine you have a toy car that you can take apart and put back together, that's kind of what happens in a mega factory. First, big machines shape pieces of metal into things like doors and wheels. Then, other robots or workers put those parts together, just like how you snap the pieces of your toy car into place.
The Assembly Line
In a mega factory, cars move along a long path called an assembly line. Each part gets added as the car goes by, like adding stickers to a gift box one after another. Some robots paint the car bright colors, and others put in seats and windows. Finally, the car is all done and ready to drive off the factory floor!
It’s like making a sandwich, you start with bread, then add meat, cheese, and veggies, one step at a time. In a mega factory, they make hundreds of cars every day!
Examples
- A robot places a car door on the assembly line like stacking blocks.
- Workers add wheels to a car frame, one by one, as it moves along the conveyor belt.
- A car is built in parts, engine, seats, windows, and then put together at the end.
