Imagine a tiny, glowing light in your phone, that’s a pixel. Even though it's small, it can shine really bright because it uses special lights inside called LEDs, which are like mini suns. When you turn on your screen, these little lights all work together to make pictures and videos. Some pixels can be brighter than others depending on the color they show, just like some lights in a house can be brighter or dimmer.
Examples
- A bright red dot on a dark screen is just one pixel working extra hard.
- When you see a glowing emoji in the dark, it’s because that single pixel is brighter than others.
