How Tractors Move
Inside a tractor, there's something called an engine, it’s like the heart of the tractor. When you turn the key, the engine starts going vroom-vroom, just like your toy car goes zoom-zoom when you push it. This gives the tractor energy to move.
The energy from the engine turns big gears inside the tractor, which make the wheels spin, and boom, the tractor moves!
How Tractors Work with Tools
Tractors can also carry tools attached to the back, like a plow or a binder. These tools help farmers dig up soil, plant seeds, or tie up hay, it’s like giving the tractor extra hands to do more work.
When the tractor moves, it helps pull these tools along with it, making farming faster and easier.
Examples
- A child pushes a toy tractor to move a small load across the floor.
- A farmer starts the engine of his tractor to plow a field.
- The tractor's wheels spin, pulling a large trailer behind it.
