Fatigue: Why Am I So Tired? And What Can I Do About It?

Fatigue is when your body feels like it needs to rest because it’s been working hard all day, just like a toy that needs to be put back in the box after playing.

Your body is like a car, and every time you run, jump, read, or even think, it uses up some of its energy. When your energy runs low, you feel tired, kind of like when a toy car slows down because the batteries are getting weak.

How Fatigue Happens

Think about playing with blocks all morning. You build a big tower, and then you run around outside. Your body uses up its energy to do these things. If you don’t get enough rest, your body can't refill its energy, it’s like the toy car needs time to charge again.

What You Can Do

If you feel tired, take a break, like when you pause during a game to catch your breath. Eating something healthy, like an apple or a sandwich, gives your body more energy, just like putting new batteries in your toy.

Sometimes, if you're tired for a long time, it's because your body is telling you it needs even more rest, maybe a nap or a good night’s sleep. So listen to your body and give it what it needs!
