Does infinity exist in the real world?

Infinity might seem like something you can only find in stories, but it shows up in the real world too, and we can see it every day!

Imagine you have a cookie jar that never runs out of cookies. No matter how many times you take one out, there’s always another one inside. That’s kind of like infinity, something that goes on forever without stopping. You might not be able to eat all the cookies in one go, but the jar just keeps giving!

Counting with friends

Now imagine you and your best friend are both counting things, maybe marbles or steps, and no matter how high you count, you can always add one more. It's like a game where you say “I can count higher than you!” and keep going forever. That’s infinity in action too!

Even though we don’t have a never-ending cookie jar or an endless counting game, the idea of something that goes on and on, like time or space, helps us understand how infinity might live in our world too!
