Computers can guess what you're thinking if they know enough about you and your habits.
Imagine you have a favorite toy that makes beep sounds when you press its buttons. If the computer knows which button you usually press first, it might say, "You're going to press the red one!", and sometimes it's right! That’s like how computers can seem like they’re reading your mind.
How Computers Learn Your Tricks
Computers use something called patterns to figure things out. If you always choose chocolate ice cream on a hot day, the computer might remember that and say, "You want chocolate!", just like when you know which flavor is your favorite.
Sometimes computers even ask you questions to learn more about you. It’s like when your teacher asks, “What did you have for lunch?” so they can guess what game you’ll want to play next.
So while computers aren’t actually seeing inside your head, they’re really just good at guessing, and sometimes they get it right!
