Think of your home WiFi owner like a librarian who controls the main door to the internet library.
Can They See Everything?
When you connect to their WiFi, your computer sends out little digital envelopes to find websites. The owner can see the destination of these envelopes. It is like watching mail being dropped into a box. They can see that you visited youtube. com, but they usually cannot see what video you watched inside that site.

This works because of a security feature called HTTPS. Imagine your data travels in a sealed, transparent bus. The librarian can see the bus is going to "YouTube," but the windows are tinted. They cannot peek inside to see which cartoon you are watching or what game you are playing.
This is why banking apps feel safe!
However, if the owner has special software installed on your device, they might be able to look inside the bus. But for most normal home setups, the WiFi owner only sees the address you are visiting, not the activity you do there. So, yes, they can see the list of places you go, but not necessarily what you do in each place.
